In the 13th match minute, Sintar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nichifor Gheban to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the match, Sintar's goalkeeper Remus Decuseară had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marius Sfetcu. Xandor were furious when Alex Nicea was red carded, 16 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Marius Sfetcu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If David Silvian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marius Sfetcu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Remus Decuseară made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Sintar's Emil Tarcea got a free kick in the 35th minute. 37 minutes into the game, David Silvian was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sintar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Xandor the free kick. 2-1 became the score in the 40th minute when Marius Sfetcu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Marius Sfetcu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 45th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pavel Nae was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Marius Sfetcu notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Sintar's Remus Decuseară. Remus Decuseară was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 58th match minute, Xandor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Bleoancă to maneuver through the defense. Sintar's Paul Bucur got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Emil Tarcea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jedrzej Bartelak was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Cornel Ştef's late challenge caught a Sintar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cornel Ştef helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Xandor's Cornel Ştef got a free kick in the 67th minute. Sintar's Remus Decuseară played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marius Sfetcu in the 78th minute of play. A collision led to Sintar getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Victor Dobrin hit a great ball. If Marius Sfetcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the match, Sintar's goal looked a bit too open when Marius Sfetcu came free, but Remus Decuseară reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sintar's Remus Decuseară played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marius Sfetcu in the 90th minute of play. Emil Tarcea hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The Sintar players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Xandor from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
