Spectators: 6709 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dan Cârnu kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, FC Prahova's goalkeeper Ilie Panaiteanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mădălin Vernescu. Manuel Gâgea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 8th minute Dan Cârnu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Zdrehuş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dan Cârnu struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Paul Zdrehuş didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Prahova. The FC Prahova fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when FC Prahova's Dan Cârnu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Manuel Gâgea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mădălin Vernescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Ilie Panaiteanu made a huge save. Paul Zdrehuş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Cârnu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dan Cârnu in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paul Zdrehuş saved Listeava CSM from getting behind. 38 minutes into the game, one of Listeava CSM:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Listeava CSM:s Paul Zdrehuş showed great skill when he stopped Manuel Gâgea:s penalty. FC Prahova were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Listeava CSM's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Manuel Gâgea took the corner. Manuel Gâgea scored 0-3 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paul Zdrehuş, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half FC Prahova were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Petrică Prelipceanu was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes FC Prahova got a freekick which was hit by Ilie Aurelianu. Ilie Panaiteanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicu Durbac in the 56th minute of the match. A collision led to FC Prahova getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Ilie Aurelianu hit a great ball. Marcel Grecu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paul Zdrehuş having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mădălin Vernescu during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. FC Prahova made a substitution. Gigel Stejaru replaced Ştefan Zăreanu. After a rather tough play, Listeava CSM's Mădălin Vernescu got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute Petrică Prelipceanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilie Panaiteanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, FC Prahova's goal looked a bit too open when Mădălin Vernescu came free, but Ilie Panaiteanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dan Cârnu might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paul Zdrehuş. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dan Cârnu ran back to his position shaking his head. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Prahova fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 75th minute. Penalty! Sebastian Condeescu shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 79th match minute, FC Prahova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Gâgea to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the match, FC Prahova's goal looked a bit too open when Petrică Prelipceanu came free, but Ilie Panaiteanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicu Durbac hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. When Mădălin Vernescu was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 88 minutes had been played. A collision led to Listeava CSM getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Mădălin Vernescu hit a great ball. With a little luck, Listeava CSM's Paul Zdrehuş got control of the ball when Manuel Gâgea tried to sneak it across the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, FC Prahova's goal looked a bit too open when Cristi Albulescu came free, but Ilie Panaiteanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
