Iclozel's Tiberiu Pantilimon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remus Coidum in the 7th minute of play. When Sebastian Hanganu came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Iclozel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Hanganu couldn't finish the play. If Cristian Gane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Martin Râznicu put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tiberiu Pantilimon. Costel Iacobescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Tiberiu Pantilimon made a huge save. After some careless play in the Valeadeni CSM defense, Mihai Soneriu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marian Vlădean. The Valeadeni CSM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marian Vlădean should have stopped the shot. In the 30th minute Valeadeni CSM were awarded a corner. Costel Iacobescu went to the cornerflag to take it. Tiberiu Pantilimon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Râznicu, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Martin Râznicu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiberiu Pantilimon having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Martin Râznicu took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Tiberiu Pantilimon to make any attempt to save it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the match, Olimpiu Glodeanu notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Iclozel's Tiberiu Pantilimon. Tiberiu Pantilimon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mihai Soneriu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marian Vlădean came out and tried to block the shot, but Mihai Soneriu slotted it home off the left post making it 4-2 in the 68th minute. Marian Vlădean made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Adrian Aursulesei sent off a good shot on target. Adrian Aursulesei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Marian Vlădean made a huge save. When Valeadeni CSM's Martin Râznicu in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Iclozel's goalie prevented a goal. Liviu Bogrea charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Olimpiu Glodeanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valeadeni CSM's supporters rose to their feet, but Olimpiu Glodeanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiberiu Pantilimon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Olimpiu Glodeanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiberiu Pantilimon having to interfere. After having played for 89 minutes, Remus Coidum managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valeadeni CSM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Remus Coidum was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 91st minute, Martin Râznicu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tiberiu Pantilimon was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2.
