Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vasile Stanciu kicked off to start the match. Alex Schipor was a little too slow when Iulian Vâlcu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 2nd minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 7th match minute, FC Otelul Galati was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernest Onete to maneuver through the defense. Filip Terzian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iulian Vâlcu struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Alex Schipor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sudrigiul. 21 minutes into the match, Sudrigiul's Filip Terzian sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alex Schipor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Răzvan Iordache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Cristian Dragomiroiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th match minute, Sudrigiul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Vermeşan to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Sudrigiul's Flavius Pandrea got a free kick in the 28th minute. Iulian Vâlcu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Schipor having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Terzian in the 32nd minute of play forced FC Otelul Galati's goalkeeper Alex Schipor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filip Terzian in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alex Schipor saved FC Otelul Galati from getting behind. Răzvan Nișu charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Răzvan Nișu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Otelul Galati fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 37th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 39 minutes, Sudrigiul's Codrin Pandele got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Alex Schipor. 42 minutes into the match, FC Otelul Galati's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Terzian came free, but Alex Schipor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute, Iulian Vâlcu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

In the 52nd minute Ernest Onete suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Sudrigiul's Flavius Pandrea got his second yellow card of the match in the 52nd minute. The referee ordered Flavius Pandrea off the ground. In the 53rd match minute, Sudrigiul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavius Pandrea to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Sudrigiul's zone, Răzvan Iordache stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Dragomiroiu came out of the goal and Răzvan Iordache tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Otelul Galati's Alex Schipor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iulian Vâlcu in the 58th minute of play. Alex Schipor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Iulian Vâlcu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the match, Fabian Vermeşan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alex Schipor. FC Otelul Galati's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabian Vermeşan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 92 minutes into the game, Iulian Vâlcu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Alex Schipor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC Otelul Galati's Alex Schipor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iulian Vâlcu in the 96th minute of play. Sudrigiul walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
