Eugen Marian blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gigi Vâlceanu having to make a save. Gigi Vâlceanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vasile Codin in the 25th minute of the match. Gigi Vâlceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vasile Codin in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Cristi Udup got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gică Frâncu in the 41st minute of play forced F.C Dinamo Bucuresti's goalkeeper Gigi Vâlceanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 43 minutes, Cristi Udup mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the OTELUL GALATI and the F.C Dinamo Bucuresti players grew even worse after the yellow card. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ernest Cumpanașu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. OTELUL GALATI played a much better game than F.C Dinamo Bucuresti and deserved their victory. The F.C Dinamo Bucuresti players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
