Vasile Codin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Ionuț Vârjean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristi Udup in the 29th minute of play forced Bekas's goalkeeper Ionuț Vârjean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, OTELUL GALATI's Cristóvão Luz seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Cristóvão Luz the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of OTELUL GALATI protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Cristóvão Luz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for OTELUL GALATI!

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vasile Codin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. OTELUL GALATI's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Ferdinand Pantelimon came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Bekas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferdinand Pantelimon couldn't finish the play. Ferdinand Pantelimon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Indar having to interfere. When Ferdinand Pantelimon, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 91 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Leandro Indar was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. OTELUL GALATI's Leandro Indar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinand Pantelimon in the 93rd minute of play. OTELUL GALATI's Eugen Marian shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 95th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ionuț Vârjean but with some difficulty. When Bekas's Ferdinand Pantelimon in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye OTELUL GALATI's goalie prevented a goal. There was no doubt that Bekas were the better team. Bekas's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
