Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Călin Scutaru got the match started through his kick off. In the 14th minute, Petruț Ivăncioiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabriel Paraschivescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ferdinand Pantelimon went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 23rd minute Ion Macovescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Paraschivescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 27 minutes, Ferdinand Pantelimon made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Dirja FC's Gabriel Paraschivescu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gabriel Paraschivescu came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Bekas's Ferdinand Pantelimon. But to his dismay, Ferdinand Pantelimon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Călin Scutaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionuț Vârjean having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Petruț Ivăncioiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd match minute, Dirja FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viorel Cioculescu to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute Ion Macovescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Paraschivescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Bekas getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Marcel Stănilă hit a great ball. If Călin Scutaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A collision led to Dirja FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Valer Robu hit a great ball. Dirja FC's Călin Scutaru got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ion Macovescu came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Bekas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ion Macovescu couldn't finish the play. Dirja FC's Gabriel Paraschivescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ion Macovescu in the 71st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Călin Scutaru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dirja FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Călin Scutaru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ionuț Vârjean breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bekas's Ion Macovescu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gabriel Paraschivescu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Călin Scutaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionuț Vârjean having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ion Macovescu in the 91st minute of play forced Dirja FC's goalkeeper Gabriel Paraschivescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ion Macovescu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 97th minute. Bekas's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Bekas's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
