Marcu Popoiu kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Miluani's goalkeeper Eric Tunaru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ioan Ungheanu. Cristinel Cinteză's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristian Neaga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Marcu Popoiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Eric Tunaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Teodoreanu in the 52nd minute of play. Albert Stejaru hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Marcu Popoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Neaga having to interfere. If Marcu Popoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eric Tunaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Stejaru in the 76th minute of play. Mureseni's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ioan Ungheanu in the 79th minute. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Miluani's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ioan Ungheanu was slow to take the kick. During this time Mureseni's players had a chance to rest. Ioan Ungheanu made a great header on Mureseni's corner, it was just that Miluani's Eric Tunaru managed to reach the ball for a save. Marcu Popoiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
