In the 64th minute Horea Coman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Cioiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot by Luca Papadima from long distance, 66 minutes into the match, got Felix Cioiu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Dumitru Cojan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Cioiu having to interfere. With a little luck, Cosla's Felix Cioiu got control of the ball when Gelu Ghiondea tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Dumitru Cojan came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the FC Steaua Bucuresti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dumitru Cojan couldn't finish the play. 78 minutes into the match, Cosla's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Mălăncioiu came free, but Felix Cioiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cosla's Felix Cioiu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Cosla from getting a goal against them. A collision led to FC Steaua Bucuresti getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Costică Ursulescu hit a great ball.
