Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Sabin Vâtcu made the kick off which started today's match. Red&White-SouL's Jon Pająk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Red&White-SouL from getting a goal against them. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of Cosla:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Red&White-SouL:s goal. When Red&White-SouL's Sabin Vâtcu in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cosla's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Cosla's Dumitru Vuia got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute Teodor Petre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Cioiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niculae Dragalina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Cosla's goal looked a bit too open when Sabin Vâtcu came free, but Felix Cioiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jon Pająk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cornel Finteșteanu went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Felix Cioiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabin Vâtcu in the 31st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sabin Vâtcu in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felix Cioiu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 43rd minute, Niculae Dragalina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ionuț Lăcătușu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Denis Horea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Niculae Dragalina's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Felix Cioiu firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Ionuț Lăcătușu fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cosla's protests and gave Ionuț Lăcătușu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cosla getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Ionuț Lăcătușu hit a great ball. Cornel Finteșteanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Sabin Vâtcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cosla's Felix Cioiu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Cosla from getting a goal against them. 75 minutes into the game, Sabin Vâtcu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Felix Cioiu. Sabin Vâtcu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Sabin Vâtcu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felix Cioiu having to make a save. In the 81st minute, Ioan Hrean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Niculae Dragalina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Cosla's goal looked a bit too open when Sabin Vâtcu came free, but Felix Cioiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sabin Vâtcu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Felix Cioiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niculae Dragalina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sabin Vâtcu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Felix Cioiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Cosla fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Red&White-SouL were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
