The tension between the Cosla and the FC STEAUA Bucuresti players grew even worse after the yellow card. 20 minutes into the match, FC STEAUA Bucuresti's Aurelian Fulga broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Cornel Mortu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cornel Mortu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cosla's Felix Cioiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornel Mortu in the 32nd minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cornel Mortu made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Cosla's goalkeeper Felix Cioiu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adam Pumnu. After having played for 59 minutes, Adam Pumnu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Felix Cioiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornel Mortu in the 81st minute of the match. Cosla's Felix Cioiu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Cosla from getting a goal against them. Felix Cioiu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adam Pumnu in the 85th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cornel Mortu in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felix Cioiu saved Cosla from getting behind. Adam Pumnu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Felix Cioiu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Cornel Mortu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduard Ştefănucă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ionuț Lăcătușu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC STEAUA Bucuresti's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
