Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Minzalesti getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Filip Petcu hit a great ball. Iustin Stanomir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petter Hjortsberg in the 41st minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, Francisc Ene was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CCA STEAUA BUCURESTI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Minzalesti the free kick. 42 minutes into the game, one of CCA STEAUA BUCURESTI:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Edgar Boia, was totally fooled by Minzalesti's Mihail Popa, who 45 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The Minzalesti players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CCA STEAUA BUCURESTI were winning 1-3.

After a rather tough play, Minzalesti's Traian Hăvârneanu got a free kick in the 74th minute.
