After 5 played minutes Filip Petcu rounded UFC Talpasu's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Andrei Păunescu made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Olimpiu Constantinescu sent off a good shot on target. Andrei Păunescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olimpiu Constantinescu in the 12th minute. Iustin Stanomir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristide Urmaticu in the 17th minute of play. After having played for 22 minutes, Traian Hăvârneanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Minzalesti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Traian Hăvârneanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Minzalesti's zone, Aristide Urmaticu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iustin Stanomir came out of the goal and Aristide Urmaticu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aristide Urmaticu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iustin Stanomir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristide Urmaticu, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Albert Pătrașcu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aristide Urmaticu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Iustin Stanomir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Răzvan Balcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iustin Stanomir having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 59 played minutes UFC Talpasu got a freekick which was hit by Răzvan Balcan. Filip Petcu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute Filip Petcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrei Păunescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, UFC Talpasu's Răzvan Balcan got a free kick in the 64th minute. If Albert Pătrașcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute Olimpiu Constantinescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrei Păunescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrei Păunescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Petcu in the 78th minute of play. A collision led to UFC Talpasu getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Dorin Tăzlăuanu hit a great ball. Filip Petcu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Andrei Păunescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aristide Urmaticu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iustin Stanomir having to interfere. UFC Talpasu's Răzvan Balcan got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albert Pătrașcu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aristide Urmaticu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the game, Răzvan Balcan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Iustin Stanomir. Răzvan Balcan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. The Minzalesti players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
