Thanks to some nice moves Narcis Ponta could shoot a difficult shot in the 91st minute, which Irinel Roşulescu however easily saved by the left post. After some careless play in the Radautio defense, Costin Claudiescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristi Comăneci. The Radautio fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristi Comăneci should have stopped the shot. When Radautio's Marcu Boteanu in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye UFC RAPID's goalie prevented a goal. There was no doubt that UFC RAPID were the better team. UFC RAPID's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
