Spectators: 7396 (Terracing: 5548, Seating: 1701, VIP seats: 147) Costin Claudiescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicu Dănciulescu having to make a save. Sabin Gherghe hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Costin Claudiescu in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicu Dănciulescu saved Ghidut CSS from getting behind. Nicu Dănciulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costin Claudiescu in the 12th minute of the match. Nicu Dănciulescu came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by UFC RAPID's Costin Claudiescu. But to his dismay, Costin Claudiescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 23 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for UFC RAPID! Valer Jucu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Irinel Roşulescu having to interfere. When Costin Claudiescu came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the UFC RAPID fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Costin Claudiescu couldn't finish the play. Costică Pantea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Nicu Dănciulescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 46 played minutes, UFC RAPID's Claudiu Ploieșteanu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nicu Dănciulescu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in UFC RAPID reached it. In the 47th minute, Costică Pantea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UFC RAPID fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3.

Costică Pantea might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicu Dănciulescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Costică Pantea ran back to his position shaking his head. Costin Claudiescus short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Nicu Dănciulescu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Nicu Dănciulescu didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when UFC RAPID's Costin Claudiescu shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-5 in the ordered_time% minute. Nicu Dănciulescu stood somewhat misplaced when Costin Claudiescu came free in front of goal and shot 1-7 to the left of him in the 86 minute.
