The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 14 played minutes Argasalesti CS got a freekick which was hit by Isac Tăutu. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nichifor Martinescu during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Argasalesti CS booed when Avrameni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nichifor Martinescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laurențiu Vulcănescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ilie Burtea hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Robert Nisporeanu struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Iustin Chitoran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Avrameni. Iustin Chitoran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurențiu Vulcănescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

A collision led to Avrameni getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Iurie Tarcea hit a great ball. Laurențiu Vulcănescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iustin Chitoran having to interfere. In the 56thth minute of the game Robert Nisporeanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Argasalesti CS's Iustin Chitoran was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Iustin Chitoran was a little too slow when Robert Nisporeanu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Laurențiu Vulcănescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Avrameni's supporters rose to their feet, but Laurențiu Vulcănescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iustin Chitoran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iustin Chitoran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Nisporeanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 81 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Argasalesti CS! Iustin Chitoran had in the 82ndth minute some difficulties stopping Laurențiu Vulcănescu's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Robert Nisporeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Iordache Juverdeanu's late challenge caught a Avrameni's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iordache Juverdeanu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Argasalesti CS's Iordache Juverdeanu got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
