Sever Coporan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gigel Tomozei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihail Ipătescu having to interfere. Sever Coporan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Claudiu Secoşan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Sever Coporans short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Claudiu Secoşan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gigel Tomozei hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Florin Niculescu hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mihail Hurgoi during the 32nd minute. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Claudiu Secoşan. A collision led to Cuzaplacu getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Ionel Perșa hit a great ball. In the 36th minute, Gigel Tomozei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sever Coporan struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Claudiu Secoşan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Movileni. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Florin Niculescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Movileni's supporters rose to their feet, but Florin Niculescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudiu Secoşan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Cuzaplacu's Claudiu Secoşan got control of the ball when Sever Coporan tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sever Coporan was the one to do the kick off. Claudiu Secoşan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sever Coporan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute, Ionel Perșa made a precise shot to the right of Mihail Ipătescu. Movileni's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 66th minute, Mihail Hurgoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute of the match Valer Bocșa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claudiu Secoşan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Movileni's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
