Moise Nenciu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Babeș's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute, Cornel Gagiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to FC Cocs getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Boruc Makarewicz hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the match, Eliodor Luncaniță notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of FC Cocs's Manuel Pogea. Manuel Pogea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Babeș during the 42nd minute.
