Aurel Jienescu didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FC Cocs's Daniel Babeș shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. After a defensive mix-up in Santimreu's zone, Daniel Babeș stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurel Jienescu came out of the goal and Daniel Babeș tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aurel Jienescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Babeș in the 38th minute of play. Manuel Pogea made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Filip Iovanovici sent off a good shot on target. Costel Stoicu hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Filip Iovanovici to strike the kick off in the second half. Vintila Iliescu took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aurel Jienescu. Aurel Jienescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Daniel Babeș hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 65th match minute, Santimreu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valer Hurmuzache to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Babeș recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th minute of the match, Daniel Babeș tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aurel Jienescu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Aurel Jienescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Babeș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Vintila Iliescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aurel Jienescu was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. 78 minutes into the match, FC Cocs's Daniel Babeș sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aurel Jienescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 82 minutes into the match, Santimreu's goalkeeper Aurel Jienescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vintila Iliescu. The FC Cocs fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when FC Cocs's Petru Cercelescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
