After a rather tough play, Stejarii Saftica's Avram Şendrea got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After having played for 3 minutes, Dorel Dănescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dalnic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dorel Dănescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mieszko Siwy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicolae Ştefănescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Costică Novacovici read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Claudiu Ghiurutan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Costică Novacovici. The goal made the score 1-0. Costică Novacovici didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claudiu Ghiurutan went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 26th minute, Tiberiu Bărbătescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 27 in the game by Claudiu Ghiurutan from a close distance when the talented Costică Novacovici managed to make a qualified save. Stejarii Saftica's players were relieved. The supporters of Dalnic booed when Stejarii Saftica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihnea Ruşdea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Costel Chirtoacă made in the 29th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Dalnic's Claudiu Vrejiu. Costică Novacovici made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudiu Ghiurutan in the 31st minute. Mihnea Ruşdea kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Edgar Onișoru charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudiu Ghiurutan made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Onișoru in the 52nd minute of play forced Stejarii Saftica's goalkeeper Costică Novacovici to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the game, Claudiu Ghiurutan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Costică Novacovici was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Stejarii Saftica were furious when Mircea Sârbu was red carded, 62 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Stejarii Saftica fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! Costică Novacovici stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudiu Ghiurutan's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. In the 73rd minute, Petre Duca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute, Eric Radovan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stejarii Saftica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Edgar Onișoru took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Costică Novacovici. Costică Novacovici dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. After having played for 91 minutes, Edgar Onișoru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 95th minute, Claudiu Ghiurutan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Costică Novacovici was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Petre Duca charged in rather forcefully in the 98th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Petre Duca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 98th minute, Petre Duca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Dalnic had played much better football throughout.
