Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Danesti's Francisc Geolgău got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 4 minutes into the match, Danesti's goal looked a bit too open when Sergiu Ilie came free, but Sever Slicaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Metofu SC booed when Danesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernest Hăulică didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adrian Deleanu scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sever Slicaru, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 10th minute Sergiu Ilie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sever Slicaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 11 minutes, Alexandru Chițan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Danesti and the Metofu SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eliodor Tache showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Irinel Diaconescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Sever Slicaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergiu Ilie in the 21st minute of play. Sever Slicaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergiu Ilie in the 22nd minute of the match. Horaţiu Blejan hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. When Sergiu Ilie came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Metofu SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergiu Ilie couldn't finish the play. Sever Slicaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdinand Cocea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute Ferdinand Cocea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sever Slicaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Metofu SC's Eliodor Tache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisc Geolgău in the 31st minute of play. Sever Slicaru didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ferdinand Cocea went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Sever Slicaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergiu Ilie in the 36th minute of the match. In the 39thth minute of the game Sergiu Ilie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Danesti's Sever Slicaru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Francisc Geolgău recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sever Ecobescu kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute. Though ot was a great shot Metofu SC's keeper Eliodor Tache was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After some careless play in the Danesti defense, Lucrețiu Nițescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sever Slicaru. The Danesti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sever Slicaru should have stopped the shot. Sever Ecobescu took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eliodor Tache. Eliodor Tache dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sever Ecobescu to make the kick off. Eliodor Tache stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sever Ecobescu's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Sever Slicaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergiu Ilie, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. When Lucrețiu Nițescu fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Metofu SC's protests and gave Lucrețiu Nițescu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st match minute, Metofu SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucrețiu Nițescu to maneuver through the defense. Sever Slicaru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ferdinand Cocea in the 64th minute. Iustin Slavici's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sever Slicaru firmly grabbed it by the left post. Danesti's Sever Slicaru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Danesti from getting a goal against them. In the 70th minute, Sever Ecobescu made a precise shot to the right of Eliodor Tache. Metofu SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. When Sever Ecobescu came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Danesti fans jumped to their feet. Eduard Ghimpu's late challenge caught a Danesti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eduard Ghimpu helped the player get up and apologised. Danesti's Sever Slicaru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Danesti from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Danesti's Sever Slicaru got control of the ball when Ferdinand Cocea tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisc Geolgău in the 88th minute of play forced Metofu SC's goalkeeper Eliodor Tache to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Metofu SC's goal looked a bit too open when Sever Ecobescu came free, but Eliodor Tache reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucrețiu Nițescu got free with Sever Slicaru in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 92 minutes into the match, Danesti's goalkeeper Sever Slicaru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucrețiu Nițescu. 94 minutes into the match, Iustin Slavici had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sever Slicaru. Danesti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iustin Slavici was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. Sergiu Ilie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Danesti fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Metofu SC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
