The audience thought a goal was coming when Adam Turak got free with Denis Tudor in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 4 minutes into the game, Vali Tâlvescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jiul Petrosani's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Beta the free kick. After a rather tough play, Jiul Petrosani's Vali Tâlvescu got a free kick in the 5th minute. Ahmet Ömür Oskan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudiu Gănescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Denis Tudor made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Adam Turak sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Beta defense, Adam Turak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Denis Tudor. The Beta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Denis Tudor should have stopped the shot. In the 34th minute Claudiu Gănescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Ömür Oskan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Șerban Bălanescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jiul Petrosani's supporters rose to their feet, but Șerban Bălanescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denis Tudor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Călin Bărbânță fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beta's protests and gave Călin Bărbânță a yellow card for diving instead. After 45 played minutes Beta got a freekick which was hit by Călin Bărbânță. 45 minutes into the match, Codruț Martin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Denis Tudor, 3-1.
Claudiu Gănescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute of the match Mei Yi Zhen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Denis Tudor skillfully saved the ball. Denis Tudor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Codruț Martin in the 67th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Ionuț Condrea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Codruț Martin in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Denis Tudor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Claudiu Gănescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Claudiu Gănescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Ömür Oskan having to interfere. Adam Turak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Denis Tudor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denis Tudor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Turak in the 91st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Claudiu Gănescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beta's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudiu Gănescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Ömür Oskan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anton Mailat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Ömür Oskan having to interfere. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Jiul Petrosani were victorious despite being under pressure from Beta for much of the match.
