Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Costin Stănculescu made the kick off which started today's match. With an all-out effort, Dumuslaul's Sorin Spirea threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luca Leu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 9 minutes into the match, Rau's goalkeeper Sorin Spirea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Virgil Vulcănescu. 13 minutes into the match, Rau's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Leu came free, but Sorin Spirea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Dumuslaul's Luca Leu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 26th minute Luca Leu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sorin Spirea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Virgil Vulcănescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sorin Spirea having to interfere. Luca Leu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sorin Spirea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Virgil Vulcănescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, Rau's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Leu came free, but Sorin Spirea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Rau's zone, Virgil Vulcănescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sorin Spirea came out of the goal and Virgil Vulcănescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luca Leu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Luca Leu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Sorin Spirea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 53 minutes into the game, Ştefan Dridu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rau's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dumuslaul the free kick. After a rather tough play, Rau's Ştefan Dridu got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Luca Leu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sorin Spirea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Nicu Vancea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luca Leu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Virgil Vulcănescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Costin Stănculescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With an all-out effort, Rau's Gabriel Ghișerel threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Costin Stănculescu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Virgil Vulcănescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sorin Spirea having to interfere. If Virgil Vulcănescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Virgil Vulcănescu in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sorin Spirea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 85 minutes, Nicu Vancea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicu Vancea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luca Leu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sorin Spirea having to interfere. Sorin Spirea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Leu in the 91st minute of play. Ştefan Dridu hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After 96 minutes, Aurel Gane mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rau and the Dumuslaul players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Rau getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Aurel Gane hit a great ball.
