Theo Dekens started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, FireFighters Team ★ DAC ★'s Moise Badea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Basarab Elian made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. A sloppy throw-in by Horia Brumaru in the 7th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Cotofenii FC's Mihnea Ştefulescu. Basarab Elian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ionuț Iorgu in the 8th minute. A collision led to Cotofenii FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Yuri Mendonça hit a great ball. Basarab Elian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theo Dekens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, Cotofenii FC's goalkeeper Basarab Elian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ionuț Iorgu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theo Dekens in the 19th minute of play forced Cotofenii FC's goalkeeper Basarab Elian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FireFighters Team ★ DAC ★'s Iurie Marian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuri Mendonça in the 20th minute of play. After 21 played minutes FireFighters Team ★ DAC ★ got a freekick which was hit by Horia Brumaru. After 22 minutes, Yuri Mendonça made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. FireFighters Team ★ DAC ★'s Iurie Marian tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Basarab Elian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theo Dekens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ionuț Iorgu in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Basarab Elian saved Cotofenii FC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice moves Marcu Albuț could shoot a difficult shot in the 36th minute, which Basarab Elian however easily saved by the left post. Basarab Elian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ionuț Iorgu in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute, Yuri Mendonça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ionuț Iorgu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Basarab Elian made a huge save. Mihnea Ştefulescu hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Basarab Elian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theo Dekens in the 56th minute of the match. Basarab Elian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionuț Iorgu in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Theo Dekens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Basarab Elian was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. 64 minutes into the match, Theo Dekens had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Basarab Elian. Cotofenii FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Theo Dekens was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Basarab Elian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theo Dekens in the 77th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Yuri Mendonça put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Iurie Marian. FireFighters Team ★ DAC ★ made a substitution. David Iftodi replaced Ionuț Iorgu. In the 85th minute Yuri Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iurie Marian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FireFighters Team ★ DAC ★'s goalkeeper Iurie Marian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dragoş Creteanu in the 94th minute of play forced Cotofenii FC's goalkeeper Basarab Elian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 96 minutes, David Iftodi made it 5-2 with a short kick to the right side. Cotofenii FC's Basarab Elian tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. FireFighters Team ★ DAC ★'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
