Viorel Măgureanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atilano Cordario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cezar Calciu in the 9th minute of play forced deCode F.C.'s goalkeeper Alex Glodeanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 9 played minutes deCode F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Augustin Mateescu. Alex Glodeanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cezar Calciu in the 11th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, deCode F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Filip Macovei came free, but Alex Glodeanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 12 played minutes deCode F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Claudiu Vătavu. Filip Macovei hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Atilano Cordario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viorel Măgureanu having to interfere. The supporters of Simbasag AFC booed when deCode F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augustin Mateescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute Codrin Simuţ shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Glodeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atilano Cordario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Viorel Măgureanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Viorel Măgureanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilano Cordario in the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilano Cordario in the 33rd minute of play forced Simbasag AFC's goalkeeper Viorel Măgureanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. deCode F.C.'s Nae Atanasiu got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Atilano Cordario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With his leg Viorel Măgureanu managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when deCode F.C.'s Nae Atanasiu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 39 minutes into the match, Augustin Mateescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Viorel Măgureanu. Simbasag AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Augustin Mateescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When Atilano Cordario came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the deCode F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atilano Cordario couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Simbasag AFC's zone, Augustin Mateescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viorel Măgureanu came out of the goal and Augustin Mateescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Simbasag AFC's Viorel Măgureanu got control of the ball when Augustin Mateescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Augustin Mateescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
After 54 played minutes Simbasag AFC got a freekick which was hit by Flavius Povară. Viorel Măgureanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augustin Mateescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filip Macovei during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of deCode F.C. booed when Simbasag AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filip Macovei didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute, Filip Macovei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cezar Calciu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. Viorel Măgureanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augustin Mateescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Gabriel Nedelcu's late challenge caught a deCode F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gabriel Nedelcu helped the player get up and apologised. Gabriel Nedelcu kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 80th minute Augustin Mateescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viorel Măgureanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st match minute, Simbasag AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Nedelcu to maneuver through the defense. Nae Atanasiu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Viorel Măgureanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. When Atilano Cordario came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the deCode F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atilano Cordario couldn't finish the play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. deCode F.C. had played much better football throughout.
