Spectators: 6702 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1702, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gigel Dragnea started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Miluani CF's zone, Adrian Pușcașu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emilian Mitrofan came out of the goal and Adrian Pușcașu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emilian Mitrofan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Pușcașu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Viorel Luncașu in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emilian Mitrofan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ion Dersidan came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Miluani CF's Valer Hritcu. But to his dismay, Valer Hritcu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Ion Dersidan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gigel Dragnea in the 19th minute of play. If Gigel Dragnea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cimpeni CS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dacian Iorgovan was slow to take the kick. During this time Miluani CF's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Dacian Iorgovan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ion Dersidan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gigel Dragnea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute, Gigel Dragnea fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ion Dersidan, passed just outside the right post. In the 34th minute of the match Horaţiu Jucu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emilian Mitrofan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gigel Dragnea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ion Dersidan having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Cimpeni CS's goal looked a bit too open when Gigel Dragnea came free, but Ion Dersidan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adrian Pușcașu to make the kick off. If Adrian Pușcașu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Valer Hritcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gigel Dragnea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th match minute, Cimpeni CS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Bosânceanu to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute, Valer Hritcu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Miluani CF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Valer Hritcu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ion Dersidan having to interfere. Ion Dersidan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valer Hritcu in the 89th minute of the match. If Viorel Luncașu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Emilian Mitrofan managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Cimpeni CS's Viorel Luncașu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
