Miraul FCM's Denis Deșliu got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nistor Nișu hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Ernest Chircu kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denis Deșliu got free with Pavel Barbălată in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 22 minutes into the game, Ghizaresti UFC's Narcis Senin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Radu Coșmeanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 28 minutes into the match, Denis Deșliu notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ghizaresti UFC's Pavel Barbălată. Pavel Barbălată was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Valentin Dumitrescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavel Barbălată having to interfere. Radu Coșmeanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narcis Senin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ghizaresti UFC's Pavel Barbălată played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Dumitrescu in the 37th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Dorel Floroiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ghizaresti UFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Miraul FCM the free kick. Dorel Floroiu hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the match, Ghizaresti UFC's goalkeeper Pavel Barbălată had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Denis Deșliu. 45 minutes into the match, Miraul FCM's goal looked a bit too open when Vasile Iorda came free, but Radu Coșmeanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Pavel Barbălată made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Deșliu in the 53rd minute of play. Vasile Iorda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radu Coșmeanu having to interfere. Vasile Iorda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denis Deșliu might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pavel Barbălată. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Denis Deșliu ran back to his position shaking his head. Radu Coșmeanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Narcis Senin in the 69th minute. After 69 played minutes Miraul FCM got a freekick which was hit by Claudiu Mihuț. A collision led to Miraul FCM getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Denis Deșliu hit a great ball. Claudiu Mihuț kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valentin Dumitrescu during the 76th minute. Pavel Barbălată made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Dumitrescu in the 82nd minute of play. After having played for 94 minutes, Narcis Senin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ghizaresti UFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Narcis Senin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
