In the 4th minute, Lucian Orghidan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stelian Sângeorzan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Ialovita CS's Lucrețiu Boldur shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 8th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Stelian Sângeorzan but with some difficulty. When Ialovita CS's Alin Ţintă in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Baliga's goalie prevented a goal. In the 12th match minute, Baliga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucrețiu Butuc to maneuver through the defense. Bogdan Hârtopanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petruț Rădulescu in the 20th minute of the match. Petruț Rădulescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bogdan Hârtopanu having to make a save. When Costică Hârciog came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Baliga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Costică Hârciog couldn't finish the play. In the 34th minute of the match Eusebiu Gherase shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stelian Sângeorzan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Baliga getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Laurențiu Tărâţă hit a great ball. When Petruț Rădulescu came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Baliga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petruț Rădulescu couldn't finish the play. Stelian Sângeorzan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alin Ţintă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the match, Baliga's goalkeeper Stelian Sângeorzan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marin Gheorghiu. When Costică Hârciog came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Baliga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Costică Hârciog couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Petruț Rădulescu made a kick off. Alin Ţintă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alin Ţintă in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stelian Sângeorzan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alin Ţintă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Stelian Sângeorzan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Lucrețiu Butuc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Șerban Diaconescu charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Șerban Diaconescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 70 played minutes Ialovita CS got a freekick which was hit by Șerban Diaconescu. 72 minutes into the match, Baliga's goal looked a bit too open when Alin Ţintă came free, but Stelian Sângeorzan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alin Muscă hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Lucian Orghidan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stelian Sângeorzan having to interfere. If Alin Ţintă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the match, Baliga's goal looked a bit too open when Alin Ţintă came free, but Stelian Sângeorzan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Alin Ţintă had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stelian Sângeorzan. Baliga's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alin Ţintă was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After some careless play in the Ialovita CS defense, Costică Hârciog kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bogdan Hârtopanu. The Ialovita CS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bogdan Hârtopanu should have stopped the shot. Marcu Bologa charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcu Bologa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ialovita CS booed when Baliga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcu Bologa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ialovita CS's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
