Alex Goanță was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Florin Ţugui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Ciprian Martin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gigel Gușatu during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Raca's Teodor Vulturar couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 13th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Real Madrid. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florin Ţugui in the 21st minute of play forced Real Madrid's goalkeeper Ciprian Martin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Florin Ţugui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florin Ţugui was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 26th minute. Raca's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 30th minute, Nicodim Nicopol made a precise shot to the right of Alex Goanță. Raca's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Florin Ţugui was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 35th minute. Raca's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Alex Goanță showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicodim Nicopol in the 38th minute of the match. Isac Pipirig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Goanță having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicodim Nicopol to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Real Madrid's Nicodim Nicopol slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alex Goanță. That made the score 0-3 after 53 minutes of play. Isac Pipirig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Goanță having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Real Madrid's goal looked a bit too open when Horea Răducan came free, but Ciprian Martin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gigel Gușatu was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 60 minutes had been played. Horea Răducan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciprian Martin having to interfere. When Raca's Florin Ţugui in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Real Madrid's goalie prevented a goal. Ciprian Martin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horea Răducan's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Ciprian Martin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florin Ţugui, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After some careless play in the Real Madrid defense, Horea Răducan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ciprian Martin. The Real Madrid fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciprian Martin should have stopped the shot. Horea Răducan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciprian Martin having to interfere. Olimpiu Ghioncu hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Real Madrid's Ciprian Martin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horea Răducan in the 87th minute of play. Ciprian Martin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florin Ţugui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florin Ţugui in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciprian Martin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Real Madrid players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
