Spectators: 7390 (Terracing: 5544, Seating: 1699, VIP seats: 147) 6 minutes into the game, one of Gasaci:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Nicu Tănăsescu shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After 10 played minutes Gasaci got a freekick which was hit by Cătălin Zamfir. After some careless play in the Gasaci defense, Eugeniusz Dlugi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Călin Gavra. The Gasaci fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Călin Gavra should have stopped the shot. When Blaju FCM's Remus Marghescu, in the 17th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Blaju FCM. If Costin Claudiescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Călin Gavra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remus Marghescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Eugeniusz Dlugi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Călin Gavra was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Călin Gavra came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Blaju FCM's Eugeniusz Dlugi. But to his dismay, Eugeniusz Dlugi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugeniusz Dlugi in the 34th minute of play forced Gasaci's goalkeeper Călin Gavra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Remus Marghescu in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Călin Gavra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 45th minute, Nicu Tănăsescu made a precise shot to the right of Călin Gavra. Gasaci's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Costin Claudiescu to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Călin Gavra managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Blaju FCM's Eugeniusz Dlugi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Eugeniusz Dlugi took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Călin Gavra. Călin Gavra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Călin Gavra made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Eugeniusz Dlugi sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 58 in the game by Remus Marghescu from a close distance when the talented Călin Gavra managed to make a qualified save. Gasaci's players were relieved. After having played for 61 minutes, Eugeniusz Dlugi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blaju FCM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugeniusz Dlugi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Remus Marghescu in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Călin Gavra saved Gasaci from getting behind. 65 minutes into the match, Eugeniusz Dlugi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Călin Gavra. Gasaci's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eugeniusz Dlugi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. If Eugeniusz Dlugi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eugeniusz Dlugis short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Călin Gavra to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Eugeniusz Dlugi sped through Gasaci's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Călin Gavra. After 77 minutes, Costin Claudiescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gasaci and the Blaju FCM players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 78th match minute, Gasaci was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Bălcescu to maneuver through the defense. Blaju FCM's Eugeniusz Dlugi managed to work through Gasaci's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Eugeniusz Dlugi dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Călin Gavra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remus Marghescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Nicu Tănăsescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blaju FCM's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicu Tănăsescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Călin Gavra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nistor Preda took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Călin Gavra. Gasaci's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costin Claudiescu in the 88th minute of play forced Blaju FCM's goalkeeper Petru Plopeanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90thth minute of the game Cătălin Zamfir who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blaju FCM's Petru Plopeanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Eugeniusz Dlugi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Blaju FCM players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
