Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 100) The supporters of Baica booed when Oarba UFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebiu Giurăscu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Baica's zone, Emanuel Nicorici stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrian Ivan came out of the goal and Emanuel Nicorici tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eusebiu Giurăscu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adrian Ivan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihai Secoşan in the 7th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Nichifor Groșan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adrian Ivan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 14 minutes into the game, Mihai Secoşan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Adrian Ivan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 17th minute, Costel Videanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adrian Ivan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nichifor Groșan's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Oarba UFC's Felix Tripon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costel Videanu in the 20th minute of play. After 21 minutes, Mihai Secoşan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oarba UFC and the Baica players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mihai Secoşan kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Costel Videanu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Felix Tripon, 1-2. Baica's Adrian Ivan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Nicorici in the 27th minute of play. Iosif Bitang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 35 minutes, Costel Videanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Baica and the Oarba UFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Baica getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Costel Videanu hit a great ball. In the 38th minute Mihai Secoşan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Ivan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrian Ivan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nichifor Groșan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Tripon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costel Videanu in the 43rd minute of the match. Mihai Secoşan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Adrian Ivan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Baica defense, Nichifor Groșan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adrian Ivan. The Baica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adrian Ivan should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nichifor Groșan to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes, Baica's Gică Hurmuzescu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Felix Tripon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Baica reached it. Felix Tripon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gigi Bărbătescu's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Felix Tripon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iosif Bitang in the 78th minute of play. In the 93rd match minute, Oarba UFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Nicorici to maneuver through the defense. Adrian Ivan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nichifor Groșan, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. 97 minutes into the match, Baica's goal looked a bit too open when Mihai Secoşan came free, but Adrian Ivan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Baica supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Oarba UFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Oarba UFC.
