After a defensive mix-up in Empire Club Recea's zone, Aron Traianescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romeo Dabija came out of the goal and Aron Traianescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Empire Club Recea's Paul Chelbea got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ernest Bojonca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augustin Hurdubețiu having to interfere. Aurelian Velicu kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Ernest Bojonca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paul Chelbea couldn't finish the play. Ernest Bojonca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Augustin Hurdubețiu having to make a save. If Martin Ganea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Aron Traianescu made the kick off in the second half. Romeo Dabija showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Călin Gherguț, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Paul Chelbea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augustin Hurdubețiu having to interfere. Augustin Hurdubețiu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. With a little luck, Bila AS's Augustin Hurdubețiu got control of the ball when Paul Chelbea tried to sneak it across the goal line.
