The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flavius Surugiu during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leontin Mardarie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 7 minutes into the match, THE Insurance TEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Calistrat Ţăranu came free, but Emiel Van Cleijnenbruegel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dinu Pamfil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dinu Pamfil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 12 in the game by Dinu Pamfil from a close distance when the talented Leontin Mardarie managed to make a qualified save. Tibrul's players were relieved. 13 minutes into the game, Cosmin Târlea recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leontin Mardarie. Cosmin Târlea showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. THE Insurance TEAM's Emiel Van Cleijnenbruegel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remus Ciocâltea in the 18th minute of play. Emiel Van Cleijnenbruegel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remus Ciocâltea in the 20th minute of the match. Denis Nicolcioiu's late challenge caught a Tibrul's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Denis Nicolcioiu helped the player get up and apologised. After 21 played minutes THE Insurance TEAM got a freekick which was hit by Denis Nicolcioiu. THE Insurance TEAM's Denis Nicolcioiu managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Lucian Zamfirescu in the 26 minute of the game. Leontin Mardarie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Nicolcioiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, Tibrul's goalkeeper Leontin Mardarie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dinu Pamfil. A collision led to Tibrul getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Lucian Zamfirescu hit a great ball. Tibrul's Leontin Mardarie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosmin Târlea in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute Dinu Pamfil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leontin Mardarie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, THE Insurance TEAM's Maxim Balaeț got a free kick in the 44th minute. Dinu Pamfil did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Leontin Mardarie 49 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Remus Ciocâltea was the one to do the kick off. Emiel Van Cleijnenbruegel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Gligor in the 58th minute of play. Calistrat Ţăranu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Emiel Van Cleijnenbruegel made a huge save. Emiel Van Cleijnenbruegel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remus Ciocâltea in the 62nd minute of the match. After 64 minutes THE Insurance TEAM's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mihail Bociort who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Mihail Bociort got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Emiel Van Cleijnenbruegel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Dinu Pamfil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leontin Mardarie having to interfere. 73 minutes into the game, Calistrat Ţăranu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Emiel Van Cleijnenbruegel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 80th minute Denis Nicolcioiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leontin Mardarie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dinu Pamfil in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leontin Mardarie saved Tibrul from getting behind. In the 84th minute Remus Ciocâltea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiel Van Cleijnenbruegel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When THE Insurance TEAM's Dinu Pamfil in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tibrul's goalie prevented a goal. THE Insurance TEAM's Cosmin Târlea got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Alin Brumaru fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored THE Insurance TEAM's protests and gave Alin Brumaru a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Tibrul booed when THE Insurance TEAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alin Brumaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leontin Mardarie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dinu Pamfil's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. Gabriel Gligor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiel Van Cleijnenbruegel having to interfere.
