A nice corner shot did that Horea Cristoloveanu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Djalma Medeiros quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, Selaru's Victor Militaru got control of the ball when Alin Racoviță tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Alamaru in the 28th minute of play forced Selaru's goalkeeper Victor Militaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolae Elefteriu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Djalma Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alin Racoviță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Militaru having to interfere.

The wind increased when Robert Alamaru made the kick off in the second half. Horia Văduvescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Djalma Medeiros having to interfere. If Robert Alamaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Selaru getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Cristi Dragalina hit a great ball. Alin Racoviță scored 2-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victor Militaru, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 87 minutes into the match, Fc Stiinta's Robert Alamaru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victor Militaru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ionel Miclauș got his second yellow card in the match during the 89th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 93rd minute, Nicolae Elefteriu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Djalma Medeiros, passed just outside the right post. An unexpected shot in the 95th minute by Laurențiu Archiudean got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.
