In the 36th minute, Călin Lucrețiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Sandu Homeag had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Claudiu Ciungu got his second yellow card in the match during the 54th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Red White Flame booed when Brinceni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudiu Ciungu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciprian Maniu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihail Brezeanu in the 59th minute of the match. Ciprian Maniu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romeo Oprișor went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Brinceni's Ciprian Maniu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernest Stoicu in the 69th minute of play. Ferdinand Bădiliță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihai Ailenei having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Red White Flame had played much better football throughout.
