Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Petru Mischie started the match with the kick off. CFR Pascani's Traian Negrițoiu got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vali Hirean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petru Mischie in the 11th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Igoiu CS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Vintilă Bara fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Andrei Visarion fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Igoiu CS's protests and gave Andrei Visarion a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th minute, Andrei Visarion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vintilă Bara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Felix Mahonea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vali Hirean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrei Visarion in the 20th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petru Mischie in the 25th minute of play forced CFR Pascani's goalkeeper Vali Hirean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vali Hirean didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marian Ciolac went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Vintilă Bara managed to get in a good position for a shot. CFR Pascani's supporters rose to their feet, but Vintilă Bara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felix Mahonea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Igoiu CS defense, Dacian Andrieșanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felix Mahonea. The Igoiu CS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felix Mahonea should have stopped the shot. In the 36th minute, Petru Mischie left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Igoiu CS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Ştefan Zdrehuş might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felix Mahonea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ştefan Zdrehuş ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 45th minute, Dacian Rusu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, Igoiu CS's goalkeeper Felix Mahonea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dacian Andrieșanu. When Dacian Rusu fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Igoiu CS's protests and gave Dacian Rusu a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of CFR Pascani booed when Igoiu CS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dacian Rusu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Andrei Visarion was shown his second yellow card after 54 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 55 played minutes Igoiu CS got a freekick which was hit by Andrei Visarion. Dacian Andrieșanu kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 71st minute Ştefan Zdrehuş suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Vlad Vasilian charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vlad Vasilian the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of CFR Pascani booed when Igoiu CS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vlad Vasilian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dacian Andrieșanu struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Felix Mahonea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CFR Pascani. The supporters of CFR Pascani booed when Igoiu CS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Panait Orghidan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dacian Andrieșanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felix Mahonea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Felix Mahonea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Anastasiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Mahonea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliodor Traianescu in the 93rd minute of play. After 93 played minutes Igoiu CS got a freekick which was hit by Petru Mischie. Vali Hirean was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Isac Chiliman.
