After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Mihai Panciu managed to get in a good position for a shot. fc matey's supporters rose to their feet, but Mihai Panciu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Radu Buta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iordache Chiru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Grigore Berevoescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colacu AC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Basarab Râznicu was slow to take the kick. During this time fc matey's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Constantin Nițisor managed to volley towards the net. After 43 minutes of play, fc matey's Mihai Panciu made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Radu Buta was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Horaţiu Plopan managed to get in a good position for a shot. fc matey's supporters rose to their feet, but Horaţiu Plopan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Radu Buta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Basarab Râznicu to strike the kick off in the second half. Grigore Berevoescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Bulcă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Basarab Râznicu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the match, Mihai Panciu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Radu Buta. Colacu AC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mihai Panciu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Mihu during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Colacu AC's Felix Mihu got a free kick in the 65th minute. After 66 played minutes Colacu AC got a freekick which was hit by Felix Ştirbu. In the 68th minute Mihai Panciu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radu Buta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Radu Buta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mihai Panciu's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Basarab Râznicu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Colacu AC's zone, Mihai Panciu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radu Buta came out of the goal and Mihai Panciu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Radu Buta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basarab Râznicu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eric Cosâmbescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radu Buta having to interfere.
