Nistor Dejeu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Gabriel Lițiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sorin Roşu charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sorin Roşu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FC FLAVI's Sorin Roşu got a free kick in the 11th minute. Nistor Dejeu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mădălin Siteavu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduard Turcu, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. If Ionuț Voina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Lițiu came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by FC FLAVI's Nistor Dejeu. But to his dismay, Nistor Dejeu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Eduard Turcu scored 1-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mădălin Siteavu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Isac Muncelean struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Gabriel Lițiu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC FLAVI. Mihai Pavelescu's late challenge caught a Rahaul UFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mihai Pavelescu helped the player get up and apologised. After 37 played minutes FC FLAVI got a freekick which was hit by Mihai Pavelescu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionuț Voina in the 38th minute of play forced FC FLAVI's goalkeeper Mădălin Siteavu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, FC FLAVI's goal looked a bit too open when Eduard Turcu came free, but Mădălin Siteavu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Rahaul UFC's Ionuț Voina in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC FLAVI's goalie prevented a goal. Mădălin Siteavu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduard Turcu in the 44th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC FLAVI's Mihai Pavelescu got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 47thth minute of the game Eduard Turcu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC FLAVI's Mădălin Siteavu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eduard Turcu to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Rahaul UFC booed when FC FLAVI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isac Muncelean didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mădălin Siteavu made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Ionuț Voina sent off a good shot on target. Ionuț Voina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute.
