Gabriel Lițiu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Basarab Râznicu's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Rahaul UFC's zone, Mihai Panciu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Lițiu came out of the goal and Mihai Panciu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th minute, fc matey's Mihai Mândrilă ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gabriel Lițiu. Gabriel Lițiu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Gabriel Lițiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihai Panciu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Rahaul UFC's goalkeeper Gabriel Lițiu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mihai Panciu. Grigore Berevoescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduard Turcu in the 22nd minute of play. In the 36th minute Horaţiu Plopan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Lițiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Lițiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basarab Râznicu, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Eric Cosâmbescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Gabriel Lițiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute Basarab Râznicu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Lițiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eduard Turcu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Rahaul UFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornel Sinulescu to maneuver through the defense. Constantin Nițisor charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 52nd minute, Constantin Nițisor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Eric Cosâmbescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 60th minute, Basarab Râznicu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. In the 73rd match minute, fc matey was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horaţiu Plopan to maneuver through the defense. Grigore Berevoescu came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Rahaul UFC's Cornel Sinulescu. But to his dismay, Cornel Sinulescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Gabriel Lițiu came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by fc matey's Mihai Panciu. But to his dismay, Mihai Panciu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Virgil Mîțu kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Basarab Râznicu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Rahaul UFC's Gabriel Lițiu didn't even have to move. Eric Cosâmbescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Lițiu having to interfere. Horaţiu Plopan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 90 minutes into the game, Horaţiu Plopan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Gabriel Lițiu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 94th minute, Mihai Panciu made a precise shot to the right of Gabriel Lițiu. Rahaul UFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. There was no doubt that fc matey were the better team. fc matey's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
