The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 18th minute Rahaul UFC were awarded a corner. Manuel Ciompec went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Filea's goalie and right to Eduard Turcu. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Filea's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
