After 31 played minutes Mavrodolu got a freekick which was hit by Luca Fecioru. When Horaţiu Bala fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rajletul CSS's protests and gave Horaţiu Bala a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd match minute, Rajletul CSS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horaţiu Bala to maneuver through the defense. When Horaţiu Bala came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Rajletul CSS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horaţiu Bala couldn't finish the play. Tiberiu Isaia hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Horaţiu Bala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ferdinand Boștină to strike the kick off in the second half. Horaţiu Bala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Șerban Bute having to interfere. Horaţiu Bala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Rajletul CSS booed when Mavrodolu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pavel Gorgan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Horaţiu Bala might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Șerban Bute. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Horaţiu Bala ran back to his position shaking his head. Horaţiu Bala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Șerban Bute tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mavrodolu's Șerban Bute played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horaţiu Bala in the 85th minute of play. If Horaţiu Bala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ovidiu Stejaru hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
