Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Paraipani AC's Sergiu Turbatu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Crivatul booed when Paraipani AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucian Ciordaș didn't get a good kick on the ball. Crivatul's attack was well implemented in the 7th minute, but when Cezar Ciulei was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. In the 9th match minute, Paraipani AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Dăscălescu to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th match minute, Crivatul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandru Tomozei to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the match, Crivatul's goal looked a bit too open when Ciprian Mercescu came free, but Costică Ciuvică reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Iulian Inculeț came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Paraipani AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iulian Inculeț couldn't finish the play. Iulian Inculeț received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Costică Ciuvică tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Dăscălescu hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, Cezar Ciulei reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sandu Achimescu. The goal made the score 1-0. When Cezar Ciulei came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Crivatul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cezar Ciulei couldn't finish the play. Pavel Ungur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandu Achimescu having to interfere. Sergiu Turbatu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Costică Ciuvică read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. After 38 minutes, Marcu Iorga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Crivatul and the Paraipani AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Crivatul's Marcu Iorga got a free kick in the 38th minute. Iulian Inculeț received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Costică Ciuvică tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 45 played minutes Crivatul got a freekick which was hit by Marcu Iorga.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cezar Ciulei stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Crivatul's Marcu Iorga got his second yellow card of the match in the 54th minute. The referee ordered Marcu Iorga off the ground. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cezar Ciulei during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 56th minute, Cezar Ciulei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iulian Inculeț could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Costică Ciuvică made a huge save. After having played for 62 minutes, Pavel Ungur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Crivatul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pavel Ungur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Costel Claudiescu during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Crivatul's Costel Claudiescu got a free kick in the 66th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Iulian Inculeț kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Costică Ciuvică. That made the score 1-1 in the 74 minute of play. If Iulian Inculeț had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 87th match minute, Paraipani AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucian Ciordaș to maneuver through the defense. Crivatul's Laurențiu Dragoș couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 88th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Paraipani AC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pavel Ungur in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sandu Achimescu saved Paraipani AC from getting behind. If Pavel Ungur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Crivatul getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Pavel Ungur hit a great ball. Iulian Inculeț received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Costică Ciuvică tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
