Spectators: 6690 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 4 minutes, Ştefan Enoaia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Star Bucharest's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ştefan Enoaia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iordache Negruț fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandu Achimescu having to interfere. Lucian Ciordaș's late challenge caught a FC Star Bucharest's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucian Ciordaș helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Star Bucharest booed when Paraipani AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucian Ciordaș didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iordache Negruț struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Sandu Achimescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Star Bucharest. After a rather tough play, Paraipani AC's Aron Dogaru got a free kick in the 9th minute. Iordache Negruț received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Sandu Achimescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sandu Achimescu came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Star Bucharest's Ştefan Enoaia. But to his dismay, Ştefan Enoaia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 21 minutes, Sergiu Turbatu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paraipani AC and the FC Star Bucharest players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st match minute, Paraipani AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergiu Turbatu to maneuver through the defense. Ştefan Enoaia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Sandu Achimescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ştefan Enoaia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sandu Achimescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iordache Negruț in the 29th minute of the match. Iulian Inculeț could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Cornel Chiuzbaian made a huge save. Cornel Chiuzbaian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergiu Turbatu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paraipani AC's Sandu Achimescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iordache Negruț in the 45th minute of play. Iordache Negruț sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Paraipani AC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Star Bucharest were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sergiu Turbatu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ştefan Enoaia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandu Achimescu having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, FC Star Bucharest's Iordache Negruț dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. When Iordache Negruț came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the FC Star Bucharest fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iordache Negruț couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd minute, Paraipani AC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Iordache Negruț fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Nistor Tolea hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. When Paraipani AC's Iulian Inculeț in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Sandu Achimescu came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Star Bucharest's Ştefan Enoaia. But to his dismay, Ştefan Enoaia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. FC Star Bucharest's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
