Taur AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave HauruHeScump the free kick. A collision led to Taur AFC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Sorin Rușanu hit a great ball. Costel Tutunaru was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gheorghe Jităreanu. Dumitru Vişoiu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ján Holiga went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Dumitru Vişoiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ján Holiga in the 20th minute of the match. But to his dismay, Cristian Roman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ján Holiga to make the kick off. Dumitru Vişoiu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Roman in the 53rd minute. Taur AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Gabriel Liviu's late challenge caught a Taur AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gabriel Liviu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th match minute, HauruHeScump was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Liviu to maneuver through the defense. Costel Tutunaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Liviu, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Taur AFC's zone, Petrică Dănălache stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Costel Tutunaru came out of the goal and Petrică Dănălache tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
