Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Viorel Uncuţă in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Calistrat Opincaru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Calistrat Opincaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viorel Uncuţă in the 10th minute of play. Nicolae Lera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calistrat Opincaru having to interfere. Viorel Dragomiroiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Emanuel Chirculescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Viorel Uncuţă's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Calistrat Opincaru was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Balanul's attack was well implemented in the 39th minute, but when Viorel Dragomiroiu was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. If Viorel Dragomiroiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Calistrat Opincaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viorel Uncuţă, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Viorel Dragomiroiu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emanuel Chirculescu having to make a save. Leonard Magheran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Calistrat Opincaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viorel Uncuţă in the 91st minute of the match. Corneliu Fetea hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Balanul fully deserved thier win.
