Spectators: 7395 (Terracing: 5547, Seating: 1701, VIP seats: 147) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Niculae Trişcu kicked off to start the match. A collision led to UFC Cringuri getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Ferdinand Diaconescu hit a great ball. Ion Bilașco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niculae Trişcu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Viorel Griguță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isac Ciupe in the 18th minute of play. UFC Cringuri's Iustinian Semeghin got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 22 minutes, Niculae Trişcu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UFC Cringuri's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niculae Trişcu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Viorel Griguță came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Tacaliile's Ionică Neculuță. But to his dismay, Ionică Neculuță quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a little luck, Tacaliile's Ion Bilașco got control of the ball when Iustinian Semeghin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ion Bilașco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niculae Trişcu, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Ionică Neculuță recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th match minute, UFC Cringuri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdinand Diaconescu to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Tacaliile were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isac Ciupe was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Ionică Neculuță managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tacaliile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ionică Neculuță was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 56th minute Isac Ciupe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viorel Griguță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ionică Neculuță got free with Viorel Griguță in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 64 minutes into the match, Tacaliile's goal looked a bit too open when Iustinian Semeghin came free, but Ion Bilașco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ion Bilașco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iustinian Semeghin, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Tacaliile's Isac Ciupe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Viorel Griguță narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Emilian Zăhărescu fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tacaliile's protests and gave Emilian Zăhărescu a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of UFC Cringuri booed when Tacaliile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilian Zăhărescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niculae Trişcu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Iustinian Semeghin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ion Bilașco. Tacaliile's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iustinian Semeghin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 86th minute, Cezar Grămescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of UFC Cringuri booed when Tacaliile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rareș Iordănescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. UFC Cringuri's Iustinian Semeghin got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niculae Trişcu in the 90th minute of play forced Tacaliile's goalkeeper Ion Bilașco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ion Bilașco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niculae Trişcu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
