Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 30) Andrei Răchitan made the kick off and thus started the match. The supporters of Girdoaia UFC booed when Tacaliile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mugurel Ogășanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 4th minute of the match Vali Cismaș sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ion Bilașco skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Marcel Lovinescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Girdoaia UFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcel Lovinescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ion Bilașco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tacaliile's Ion Bilașco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrei Răchitan in the 17th minute of play. Marcel Lovinescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ion Bilașco having to interfere. Virgil Popilean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isac Ciupe in the 23rd minute of play. After 25 played minutes Girdoaia UFC got a freekick which was hit by Dorel Gheorghiu. In the 31st minute, Eusebiu Oprița hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isac Ciupe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Virgil Popilean made a huge save. If Marcel Lovinescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tacaliile's Petruț Mâinea shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 45th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Virgil Popilean but with some difficulty. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The wind increased when Isac Ciupe made the kick off in the second half. Virgil Popilean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isac Ciupe in the 53rd minute of play. After 57 minutes of play, Tacaliile's Isac Ciupe made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Virgil Popilean was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcel Lovinescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Ion Bilașco made a huge save. Marcel Lovinescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ion Bilașco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute, Ionică Neculuță got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Marcel Lovinescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrei Răchitan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ion Bilașco having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionică Neculuță in the 79th minute of play forced Girdoaia UFC's goalkeeper Virgil Popilean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Tacaliile's zone, Marcel Lovinescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ion Bilașco came out of the goal and Marcel Lovinescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aristide Angheluș hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Marcel Lovinescu kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Tacaliile were victorious despite being under pressure from Girdoaia UFC for much of the match.
