Spectators: 6710 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1710, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, -BZF- Borussia Buzau's goalkeeper Robinson Zapata had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cosmin Stănculescu. Panait Iacob's late challenge caught a Maidan AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Panait Iacob helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Maidan AC booed when -BZF- Borussia Buzau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Panait Iacob didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Vintilă Sticlaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. -BZF- Borussia Buzau's Robinson Zapata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ion Bouleanu in the 11th minute of play. Robinson Zapata was a little too slow when Ion Bouleanu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 1-0. -BZF- Borussia Buzau's Robinson Zapata proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save -BZF- Borussia Buzau from getting a goal against them. In the 19th match minute, Maidan AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandu Buda to maneuver through the defense. -BZF- Borussia Buzau's Robinson Zapata proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save -BZF- Borussia Buzau from getting a goal against them. In the 25th minute Francisc Mantu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alin Enescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robinson Zapata made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cosmin Stănculescu in the 27th minute. Alin Enescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vintilă Sticlaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Moise Dudea charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moise Dudea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Maidan AC's Moise Dudea got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 41st minute Vintilă Sticlaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alin Enescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisc Mantu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alin Enescu having to interfere. Alin Enescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vintilă Sticlaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Alin Enescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vintilă Sticlaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vintilă Sticlaru was the one to do the kick off. Ion Bouleanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robinson Zapata having to interfere. Robinson Zapata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ion Bouleanu in the 61st minute of play. In the 64th minute Vintilă Sticlaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alin Enescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, -BZF- Borussia Buzau's Ionică Encea seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ionică Encea the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of -BZF- Borussia Buzau protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ionică Encea had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Ion Bouleanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robinson Zapata having to interfere. 78 minutes into the game, Cosmin Stănculescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Robinson Zapata was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 85 minutes, Francisc Mantu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. -BZF- Borussia Buzau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisc Mantu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ion Bouleanu in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robinson Zapata saved -BZF- Borussia Buzau from getting behind. Maidan AC's Marian Nae got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sandu Buda kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Robinson Zapata didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ion Bouleanu went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Maidan AC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
