Claudiu Pârcălab was left in no man's land by his defense there! Claudiu Pârcălab took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horea Brânzaș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by Cătălin Codru in the 30th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by OSK Sepsi Sfantu Gheorghe's Ionel Giurăscu. OSK Sepsi Sfantu Gheorghe's Claudiu Pârcălab played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horea Brânzaș in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Horea Brânzaș made a precise shot to the right of Claudiu Pârcălab. OSK Sepsi Sfantu Gheorghe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Horea Dragnea was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th match minute, F.C.Sibiu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Chindriș to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Jørgen Glamsgaard kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Claudiu Pârcălab. That made the score 0-5 in the 56 minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Claudiu Pârcălab successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Horea Brânzaș could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Claudiu Pârcălab made a huge save. After 72 played minutes OSK Sepsi Sfantu Gheorghe got a freekick which was hit by Pavel Harhoiu. 74 minutes into the match, OSK Sepsi Sfantu Gheorghe's goalkeeper Claudiu Pârcălab had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jørgen Glamsgaard. Claudiu Pârcălab made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horea Brânzaș in the 78th minute of play. After a rather tough play, F.C.Sibiu's Jørgen Glamsgaard got a free kick in the 80th minute. Claudiu Pârcălab showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisc Stoiciu in the 84th minute of the match. Horea Brânzaș took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claudiu Pârcălab. Claudiu Pârcălab dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. F.C.Sibiu walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
