F.C.C-N's Leonard Iovanovici got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 8th minute, Cosmin Mocanu made a precise shot to the right of Mircea Bârsan. Darmonesti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. When F.C.C-N's Leonard Iovanovici in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Darmonesti's goalie prevented a goal. Leonard Iovanovici fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mircea Bârsan having to interfere. Mircea Bârsan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosmin Mocanu in the 24th minute of the match. After 25 minutes of play, F.C.C-N's Leonard Iovanovici made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mircea Bârsan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonard Iovanovici in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mircea Bârsan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 32 played minutes, Darmonesti's Tudor Pantea shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rareș Giubelean came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Darmonesti reached it. The supporters of Darmonesti booed when F.C.C-N was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stijn Oosterbaan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Filip Berceanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Darmonesti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filip Berceanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, F.C.C-N's Leonard Iovanovici sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mircea Bârsan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Leonard Iovanovici managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C.C-N's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonard Iovanovici was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mircea Bârsan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Iovanovici in the 38th minute of play forced Darmonesti's goalkeeper Mircea Bârsan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicodim Popilean's late challenge caught a F.C.C-N's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicodim Popilean helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Darmonesti's Nicodim Popilean got a free kick in the 40th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Darmonesti's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Iovanovici came free, but Mircea Bârsan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mircea Bârsan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Iovanovici in the 46th minute of play. After having played for 48 minutes, Gigel Filimon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C.C-N's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gigel Filimon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The wind increased when Filip Berceanu made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Darmonesti got a freekick which was hit by Mihăiţă Geamănu. Leonard Iovanovici sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernest Bârlea struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Mircea Bârsan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C.C-N. In the 68th match minute, Darmonesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Ţeica to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 69 minutes, Ernest Bârlea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C.C-N's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernest Bârlea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leonard Iovanovici who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Mircea Bârsan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Leonard Iovanovici took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mircea Bârsan. Mircea Bârsan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in Darmonesti's zone, Leonard Iovanovici stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mircea Bârsan came out of the goal and Leonard Iovanovici tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonard Iovanovici in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mircea Bârsan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. During the 90th minute of the match Nicodim Popilean completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Nicodim Popilean a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 91st match minute, Darmonesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicodim Popilean to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonard Iovanovici in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mircea Bârsan saved Darmonesti from getting behind. Leonard Iovanovici blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mircea Bârsan having to make a save. F.C.C-N played a much better game than Darmonesti and deserved their victory. The Darmonesti players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
